I first picked up the viola when I was 10 years old in sixth grade orchestra class, and I haven't put it down since. While most professional musicians were certain of their career paths from a young age, I had no plans to pursue music professionally, until an opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall during my senior year of high school would shape my future. Since then, I have toured the United States and Asia as a solo artist in addition to performing with acts including Lady Gaga, Elvis Monroe, Jeff Mix and the Songhearts, and others, as well as performing at TedxBach Dang, making appearances with Imagine Dragons, Gwen Stefani, Shaq, and Chaka Khan, as well as performing for U.S. president Jimmy Carter and performing as a featured soloist with professional orchestras.
