Hello! My name is Rebekkah and I started learning ASL around the age of 11 through my aunt who is a fantastic ASL interpreter in Illinois. I loved ASL so much that I decided to take in high school and college. Then I taught ASL, including songs, to students at a local co-op. I taught dance and Sign Language for this co-op for several years until going back to university to finish my Biblical Studies: Cultural Relations focused degree. Since then, I’ve taught children dance and cared for babies and toddlers while teaching them some Sign Language and building good character. I just finished a year of teaching in-home preschool for three kids and I love teaching Sign Language! I do teach online, but through Zoom instead of through this app.
