I teach Spanish, Czech, Slovak and English language. The last ten years I have taught students of ages between 18 months and 80 years. They were from different countries, in training schools, in academies, in language schools and online. I also spent two years teaching in China, in Xiamen. The last 5 years I have lived in Prague where I have worked as a teacher in Spanish language Institute and in Prague's Business Academy but also as a tourist guide for English and Spanish speakers for McGee's tours. Recently I moved to Chicago to live with my parents that are getting older (they are both retired now) and there is not too much time left to enjoy their company. I discovered that in order to work in my profession I have to study two years more. So nowadays I am doing my doctorate studies in order to be able to receive the teaching licence. In general I am very knowledgeable in languages, literature, history and I am very serious about my work but I also like to have fun in class. . I was born in former Czechoslovakia and in early nineties I moved to Spain. In the same time my parents move to Chicago. In Spain i did my academic studies: Licentiate in English Studies, Licentiate in Slavic Studies, Master in research of language and literature (A licentiate is a degree below that of a PhD). That means that I teach the standard Spanish by Royal Academy of Spanish language or by Cervantes. "Learning has to be fun!!!"

Renata was very sweet and patient with my daughter. She understands the need for repetition with young children and encouraged my daughter to keep trying!
My kids the like it very much. Can really see the difference after a few sessions.
I have had 3 Czech lessons with Renata so far and many more to go. She is very knowledgeable not only in Czech but in the English language which is helpful for understanding. She is a very good instructor.
