Grow in your musicianship with a well-tailored curriculum provided by an adept musician.
I have a well organized lessons plan for students who want to study music theory. From the basics to advance, I will meet you at where you are and help you grasp harmony and theory to a deeper level. We will look at different topic every lesson, and we will listen and analyze music with sheets I transcribed myself, ranging from pop to jazz. I will offer PDFs of materials, practice sheets, and music sheets for you to study after lessons.
About Roger L.

I’m Roger, a Brooklyn based guitarist. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where I studied guitar performance and jazz composition. I’ve got 25 years of experience studying and playing music of all kinds, from classical to pop, to rock, to jazz, on both piano and guitar. I had been through those difficulties myself. By overcoming recurring obstacles, I realize that learning music is in fact a journey with endless discoverings. Through listening, practicing and studying we discover more diverse and stylistic choices available on the instrument. Eventually, accumulating those discoveries, we hope to freely and genuinely express ourselves through the instrument, and learn to appreciate music and art on a deeper level. I want to help my students build the ability to self teach on this journey, so that they craft from not only the materials I share, but also from their own discovery.
