Modern technological tools are revolutionizing the possibilities for musical artists. By learning about music production, you can have the sounds of the orchestra, rock band, and beyond all at your finger tips. I offer instruction in Ableton Live and other related software. Depending on your goals, music production lessons can include instruction on synthesis, realistic sounding manipulation of samplers, recording, mixing and mastering. If these terms sound like Greek to you, that's fine too! All that is required for music production lessons is an interest in creating music with a computer and other pieces of music technology. I also offer lessons in composition, music theory, arranging, and piano performance. These subjects may also be included, if applicable. On the first lesson with a new student, I'll always go over the options for potential areas of study and work with the student to develop an appropriate course of study customized to their needs and interests. For information on the other areas of study that I offer instruction in, see the drop down menu near the upper-right of my profile. Cancellation Policy: Please cancel lessons with as much advance notice as possible. Lessons that are cancelled with less than 3 hours notice will be considered "missed lessons," and will be charged full price. If you do not arrive to a lesson on time and do not contact me, I will wait at least 15 minutes.
