I've spent 30 years making a living as the author of seven non-fiction books, three of which were optioned for TV or films, one became a major motion picture. As a working writer, I've also had two original screenplays optioned, worked on scripts for several major studios and am working on new scripts and non-fiction book projects. I have been an editor at three national magazines, am the author of several dozen magazine cover stories and hundreds of feature articles. On my journey, I've been lucky to have several incredible mentors who made a major impact on my professional life. I know how important that can be.
