For piano, in the past, Susan has participated in the Northern Virginia Piano Festival for 8 years and has gotten a superior rating. She has also completed the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) up to level 5. For cello, Susan had played with several celebrities such as José Carreras, Joshua Bell, Tony Bennett, Kristen Chenoweth, Renée Fleming, Irish Tenors (Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns, Ronan Tynan), Henry Wrinkler, Paul Anka, and Rick Steves. She also had a chance to perform with her university at the LA philharmonic.

We chose Susan for lessons for my two children, who are of vastly different skill sets and ages. I am SO incredibly happy with our experience. She is patient and kind with both! She gave me an excellent, comprehensive run down after the lessons to explain to me where each was at. I have a music background, but if I didn't, I would still feel like I completely understood because her communication is so clear. We signed my elementary school aged child up for a 3-lesson trial, and I can already tell we will be signing up for more. She's such a gem!
