Private Acting Coach
I have taught acting, improv, and playwriting professionally for the last ten years, teaching with theaters all around the country, including the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, and serving as a private acting coach around New York and Los Angeles. For two years I led the high school drama program at the Hudson Valley Conservatory, teaching voice, speech, performance techniques, and improvisation, as well as directing two productions a year. I've also acted professionally for over 15 years, performing both Off-Broadway and regionally, and appearing on TV is shows such as Bull (CBS), High Fidelity (Hulu), and Little America (AppleTV). I have also performed stand up, improv, and sketch at some of the top comedy theaters in New York and LA. As a teacher, I am enthusiastic, encouraging, playful, adaptable, and well-versed in both classical and contemporary theater, as well as a variety of acting styles and techniques. I love working with actors, discovering the nuances in a scene, helping you to discover your own unique voice, playing games and exercises to bring out your authentic core self, and discovering what strategies and processes work for YOU. I have extensive experience with both the craft and the business of acting. Whether you are preparing for an audition, brushing up on a monologue, strengthening your voice and speech skillset, or just getting started in the industry, I'd be thrilled to work with you!

Tirosh is an amazing instructor! He is so supportive and enthusiastic about helping me learn. I had fun and learned a tremendous amount in my very first acting lesson. I plan to continue taking lessons with Tirosh and look to share with others to try and lesson with Tirosh.
