Victoria has been playing the French horn since 2008 and the piano since 2001. She is currently majoring in horn performance and jazz French horn at the University of Illinois. She studies under Bernhard Scully, a horn player who has played in the world-renowned Canadian Brass, and Jim Pugh, a trombonist in the band Steely Dan. Victoria accepts students of all ages, skill levels, and musical goals, and she firmly believes in personalized instruction. Her students may learn music history, improvisation, the physics of sound, effective practice methods, audition prep, and their favorite tunes in addition to playing the instrument. Above all, Victoria helps her students to love music!

On one occasion, she was 15 minutes late. Tonight she just didnt show up. No phone calls, no texts, no email, no nothing, just no show.
Victoria is very knowledgeable and was very engaged throughout the lesson. She asked good questions to assess my goals and playing level, and tailored the lesson appropriately. I am looking forward to my next lesson.
