As someone who is comfortable with a variety of musical genres, and techniques, the first thing I want to do with any student is to identify their goals, desires, and ability, and then tailor fit a technique to best compliment those assets. After singing opera professionally for over 11 years, I truly feel that a fundamental approach to singing through "24 Italian Songs and Arias", American/English Art Song, Golden-Age Musical Theater, and Vaccai exercises are the perfect training grounds for the establishment of a healthy, and sustainable vocal technique. For intermediate, and advanced students I aim to incorporate French, and German Art Song, in addition to arias/songs from composers such as Mozart, Handel, Donizetti, Rossini, Bellini, Bernstein, Sondheim, and Gershwin to expand upon various techniques. Unlike some teachers, though, I feel that there is no single-way to teach singing, and I positively love to experiment with a wide variety of vocal, and breathing exercises to ...
Hello There, My name is Jesus. After teaching for over 8-years I have come to learn that there is fundamentally not a single one-size-fits all method to the learning and teaching singing. Flexibility, comfortably, and enjoyability are the the three main pillars of my studio; and when supported b

I specialize in coaching actors for auditions for film, television, agents, casting directors, theatrical performances or drama schools. Whether you are starting out on your journey as an actor or already have extensive experience, together we will make your audition distinctive. You may need one or two sessions to prepare for a self tape, or to work over an extended time to craft a role for film or theater. I will be there, in your corner, to help you focus your creativity and be successful.
I will help you define the specific situation of your character; and ask you provocative questions to help you journey deeply into the role. We will find the key to tapping into your own life experience to bring the role to life. In addition, I can give you tips on setting up your home studio.
The industry has changed dramatically in the past two years. SELF TAPING your auditions and submitting the digital media to casting directors, agents and film producers has become the new ...

We work on two areas: Delivery and substance.
I find John’s experience as an actor invaluable in helping me develop the delivery of my routine. He advises me on pacing and on attitude – crucial in Stand-Up.
I also ask John for his opinions regarding the substance of my routines - structure and contents. It’s very important in Stand-Up to have drama and clear organization. John’s comments are always on-target and have helped me greatly.
John has provided me with a safe forum where I can present my material to him in rehearsal mode. He asks thoughtful questions which lead me to improve my routines so they will have a greater impact on the imaginations of the members of my audience.
It is a pleasure to recommend John. I recommend him highly.

Computer Science from Miramar College
Math has always been my favorite subject, I'm drawn in by its necessity found everywhere in nature. I've been teaching for about three years now. I focus on the ability to read and write math as a language. This is what bridges the gap between memorizing math and understanding math. Being a student myself I've noticed a lot of teachers fail to take this approach in the classrooms, leaving math to become a tamed subject with nothing more than a bunch of seemingly random steps. However, this couldn't be further from the truth! My lessons will boost your understanding of math in a way that makes you excited to keep learning more!
Hi my name is Corey, I'm a computer science major and I am a huge nerd when it comes to math and other subjects of science. I have a strong passion for helping students just like myself excel in their academic goals! I began tutoring once I got back in school. At first it started off as a little

As a game, chess is traditionally divided into three phases: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. While all three are important, today I’m going to help you start out strong in the opening. When I first learned how to play chess, I played openings that really did not help me improve and left me with an awkward start to the game more often than not. Eventually, I adopted some of the openings that I will show you in this post and my rating skyrocketed. Opening Principles The first …

Interested in trying your hand at jewelry design? Before you begin, consider the following 5 questions, as outlined by Nashville jewelry designer and teacher Warren F... Susan felt very unsure of herself. And unsure of her jewelry. Would people like it? Was the color mix appropriate? Was the construction secure? Was the price smart and fair? She allowed all this uncertainty to affect her design work – she had difficulty finishing pieces she was working on, starting new projects, and getting …
