To help you reach your personal academic goals, (whether it be pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trig, pre-Calculus or Calculus, SAT, and/or the ACT test preparation, or may be GRE preparation for an older audience) I will find your weak topics and help you understand it fully. For that, I analyze your previous work and we discuss what you did and why. I will help you to see the logic in the solution and understand the relationship between concepts. Between sessions, I will happily answer short questions off the clock by email, or Skype.
For the SAT/ACT test takers my plan is usually for a student to take the practice test at home or school, then grade it and come back to me with the results. We will diagnose your problems (as in “didn’t have enough time”, “don’t know how to approach a problem like this”, “didn’t read the problem carefully”, “made a calculation error”, “didn’t know the definition” and so on) and work ...

I've been teaching piano for eight years and specialize in beginner - intermediate students with a focus on technique, theory and reading music. I've taught all ages from as young as 3 years old to 70+. I usually use the Alfred's Basic Piano Library method books as they have a great balance of theory and songs, while being very easy to follow. I also have a wide range of sheet music and songbooks for students to choose pieces from, including Classical, Jazz, Film scores, and classic to modern pop music.

A two-time Acoustic Music Seminar participant and a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, mandolinist Jake plays and writes music that is galvanized by roots music from around the globe. Music has taken him all over the country, yet he was introduced to acoustic music in his hometown, the greatest bluegrass city of all time: Akron, Ohio. Jake joined his uncle’s bluegrass band (The Blue Ribbon Bluegrass Band) playing mandolin and spent the next two years refining his craft. In his years with Blue Ribbon Bluegrass Band, Jake recorded two CDs and played countless gigs all over the northeastern United States. After being urged by his friends and family, Jake applied to the Berklee College of Music, where he graduated in 2017 with a degree in Mandolin performance and American Roots Music, mentored by greats such as Joe Walsh, Maeve Gilchrist, David Wallace, and Matt Glaser. He now tours nationally with the band The Page Turners.
I love to teach and hope to make you a more conscious

The following projects are quite simple, quick and u …
