Great teacher. He has patience and so much knowledge. Lessons are going well, I've made more progress in 3 meetings than I did in months with my previous teacher.

My son had his first guitar lesson with Daniel and he LOVED it. He's asked me every day since if we get to go back today. This is an incredible win for me, because he never wants to go anywhere that doesn't have video games.

I've been really struggling to get myself back into playing seriously. I was so nervous reaching out to ask for help, but signing up for lessons with Dan is seriously the best decision I've made! He's got a great approach, really pushes you to believe in yourself, which is huge for me!

He's professional, easy going, and easy to get in touch with, but he's also holding me accountable. Something which I definitely need! Just all around a positive experience!

After years of performing in the studio and on stage it was only natural that she start musically directing and producing. With production comes recording after recording. Francesca now runs ProTools and Login in her studio daily and will show you the quick path towards recording your demo. Francesca has been professionally recording since 2000.

About Francesca

Alumnae of CSULAs music department with an emphasis in classical voice and guitar, Francesca's skills cover a vast array of information. With a background and formal education in opera and "the classics", Francesca is equally comfortable on stage with a chamber orchestra as she is with a rock band.

I can't write enough good things about Francesca! She is patient, kind, funny, absolutely wonderful with children (I have a 6 year old), easy to work with, and worth every cent!
I have missed various lessons (mom brain) and she has been nothing but accommodating and understanding. There are times my daughter isn't up for the lesson, and Francesca rolls with it and reschedules as she wants this to be fun not something that feels like they have to do it. She is a great communicator and always in an energetic mood. My daughter and I love her!!!!
Heather
Francesca is wonderful. My son has developed a love of learning piano and reading music. He looks forward to every lesson. I have never had to remind him to practice- he seeks opportunities to share what he is learning and is eager to share his progress with Francesca every week. She is supportive and motivating. I know she loves to develop a love music in her students by her obvious dedication to developing their love and understanding of music.

My 7 year old son won't stop singing so I figured I'd put him in some lessons. She's a good mix of patient and fun while still keeping him on track. I thought it would just be a lot of scales, but she teaches him all aspects about singing/performance and uses his favorite genres to teach them. Excellent instructor!

I'm a versatile performing musician and composer myself and so love to teach all styles including classical, jazz, rock, blues and more! We have a student showcase party every year where all the students get together to perform and showcase their skills. Performing, like everything else in music, is actually really easy once you become familiar with it! We learn from the beginning that music is all about having fun and bringing more joy and fulfillment into your life!

About Jim

My career in music began at an early age (four!) with classical piano lessons until the age of thirteen. After expanding my musical horizons in high school listening to jazz, blues and rock I attended Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA where I studied jazz & music theory with renowned jazz educator Ray B

"I am an adult student (33) taking beginner drawing lessons with Jessica. My interest/goal is to draw realistic portraits (maybe in a few years), but with no background, I'd better start from the basics, and I am so glad to have Jessica as my teacher. Her philosophy about how to approach art alone is already teaching me so much - for example, what's the correct mindset, how to really observe a subject, how to practice drawing even when I am not drawing.

We have been working on building up foundational skills and their sequence, which gives me clear understanding on what each small step means in the long term. Based on my interest and what I knew and didn’t know, Jessica would design each lesson with a specific focus in mind, usually around practicing a certain technique. Her homework (I ask for homework since I draw slowly) also reinforces those learnings. I feel more confident with each lesson, and my progress is noticeable.

Also, she is incredibly encouraging, patient, and generous. I never feel judged or self-conscious practicing techniques in front of her (often clumsily) or showing her my new drawings. She always gives thorough feedback and encouraging words. Overall, she gives me confidence on my journey, and that is much needed for an adult student who didn’t have the chance to start when younger. Best teacher ever!"

"We feel that we totally lucked out with finding Jason who is a complete gem! He showed up on time and quickly inspired my son with the drawing lessons by having him draw Superheroes! So my son is having a great time with Jason who has a great way of giving feedback and steering Cody using a balance of instructions and positive feedback. Cody is definitely enjoying his lessons and I am seeing real progress. I feel like I did the right thing investing in these lessons and giving Cody a great summer with a wonderful instructor. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Jason for being so great at what you do!"

"Sharon McNeil is a talented instructor. She is able to assist students in retaining crucial information regarding source of light, shadow placement and overall composition. She is skilled at color mixing. In our classes she set up large still life arrangements at the center of the room that were our focus. She provided painting demonstrations that helped put theory into action. A good teacher."
