Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from Western Michigan University
As a music instructor, I am eager to cater to the needs of each individual child and to provide them with engaging musical experiences in supportive environments. I have previously provided violin, viola, and piano lessons to students of all ages both through Thompson Tutoring in Portage, Michigan and Reverb Lessons in Chicago, Illinois. I have approximately six years of private teaching experience.
I recently graduated from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts with a Master of Music Degree in Viola Performance. In 2016, I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Viola Performance and Spanish. My performance experience includes both local and international venues. I have performed locally throughout the Southwest Michigan area, in orchestras such as the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, Whiting Park Symphony Orchestra, Holland Symphony Orchestra, and Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra. I'm a pianist-singer specialized in Western Art, jazz, and musical theatre idioms and I teach lessons in all classical and contemporary styles. I was conservatory-trained at Shenandoah University where I earned Dual-BM's in Performance and Jazz Studies, one of only a handful in its history to do so.

I am a great communicator of what you need to start singing better immediately. Sensing what’s happening inside your Voice and body as you sing is an inmate specialty of mine. As I share that ability with you during our lessons, you will understand immediately how to correct any singing problems you may have. Your results, as others, will be instantaneous dramatic improvements for your singing voice.
The virtue of patience has been gifted to me and it’s easy for me to nurture your voice, no matter how young or old, to achieve fine vocal skills, great stage presence and a solid confidence to boost.
As long as you practice, you will see weekly improvements. With your consistency in attending your lessons, you will reach your singing goals like so many of my other students.
I look forward to working with you and seeing you (and others that hear you) be amazed at your singing progress!
I have a bachelor and master degree in music and have traveled across the country and internationally performing music. Also, I have had the pleasure to work with professional recording artists like John legend, Yolanda Adams, and Doug E. Fresh, the rapper. I have been teaching in Florida for the

With the highest range of the orchestral string family, the violin is capable of singing with the voice of an angel. Solid technique in combination with musical expression is what makes that possible, so these will be primary areas of focus during our lessons.
We will cover form (because that is the foundation of technique - without proper form, mastering the instrument is virtually impossible), intonation (which is as much about training the ears as it is the fingers), tone (I'm probably biased, but I think strings have the most beautiful and expressive sound of all of the instruments of the orchestra), theory (the grammar/vocabulary/sentence structure and written language of music), literature and history (the music itself, who wrote it, when it was written and in what context). It's a misnomer to lump almost 1000 years of the music of Western Civilization under the label "classical" (which technically represents less than 100 years of music history).

Sharing the joy of music for over 40 years! Timeless and universal, music is a language that transcends all the spoken languages of the world. It is the language of the human heart and spirit. Cameron has worked with students of all ages, from children to senior adults. Whether you're just getti
professionally to pick up the violin basics easily. Aarav was not only able to learn from him, but really enjoyed him as a teacher, as well.
Cameron is highly skilled at teaching. I would highly recommend him .
I started taking voice lessons for the first time at a community college in Arizona. After moving to Florida, I met Cameron and resumed studying voice. It has been my pleasure to work with him and feel fortunate to have him as my teacher. He has helped me tremendously.
In the past, I was a baritone, but Cameron has worked with me to extend my range, so now I am more of a bari/tenor. He has helped me learn better breathing technique, so now I can hold my notes twice as long and my tone is very much improved.
It has been an honor to sing the National Anthem on multiple occasions with our local veteran's AVAST Color Guard presentations. Cameron worked with me for many lessons to improve my rendition of the Anthem. The Star-Spangled Banner is not an easy song and I wanted to sing it correctly. Cameron was very patient and helped me with the rhythm and diction. I sing it unaccompanied and I don’t read music, and I am in my 70’s. I think I am a challenge for my teacher! I have received several complementary letters on my performances, so I shared those complements with him because I could not have received them with out his help.
I highly recommend Cameron as a teacher and an honest person.

If you’ve ever been in a play or musical you will be familiar with the term ‘stage directions’. For those who don’t know, stage directions are, “an instruction in the text of a play, especially one indicating the movement, position, or tone of an actor.” Stage directions can also be instructions for the director, such as the way the stage should be lit or what kind of sound effect could be used. Stage directions can also tell an actor how to deliver a line— pace of speech, emot …
