Piano lessons will be tailored to a students abilities and passion for the instrument. I want them to enjoy learning about the instrument, the sounds they can produce and how it works. Classical music can be fun to learn and to discover!

About Keats

Hello! I am currently a graduate college student in Athens, Ohio, at Ohio University. I graduated from Southeastern University this past May (2021). I primarily began my studies in piano before taking cello lessons a few years later. I am a teacher that usually teaches classical but can also teach o

Keats is a skilled and perceptive teacher. I am dealing with many beginner issues and he always has multiple suggestions and ways of explaining how to accomplish the techniques I am working to master.
I am an accomplished flutist but just love the cello so decided to take lessons. He truly seems to enjoy sharing his knowledge.
I feel so fortunate to have found Keats because he really cares about me as an individual although I am truly old enough to be his grandmother. Outside of our lessons, he has sent me links to recordings, a new bow which I have purchased and am thrilled with, and various other cello-related matters of interest to a beginning cellist.
He does not insist that there's only one way to do things and has studied with a variety of teachers himself. He comes from a musical family so is very knowledgeable about classical music. A true musician who understands the love of music.
Lastly, I want to recommend Keats because he has a very gentle, kind manner and praises my work when it is good. He encourages me through frustrations and sets reasonable goals at each lesson.
I am also a music teacher and would recommend him for a student of any age. I know that the relationship that develops between teacher and student is crucial to a student's progress, and Keats is a real and caring person in the lesson, not some drill instructor. I think he would be fabulous with children and certainly relates very well to adults. Give him a try!

Keats teaches my son online as we live in a different country. We’ve been very pleased with Keats. Here are some words from my son:

I am grateful for Mr. Keats as my piano teacher. He does an excellent job at teaching any style of music that I want to cover; he especially does well at explaining and is super understanding for teaching at whatever pace that you s

Very patient. Explained everything very well as I had forgotten most of the piano taken years ago. Reviewed everything to start teaching at my level. Gave some good tips and apps to help me study.

I have tutored many HS and a few college students in math. They all excelled after my sessions.

I have considerable expertise in probability and statistics, in particular it’s application to data relating to the physical sciences and the mathematical modeling associated therewith.

I’m aware, of course, with other applications of statistics in sociological and economic settings. But my strengths are in the rigorous framework of the subject of mathematical statistics.

About Daniel

I'm a graduate of UCLA School of Engineering with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. I have a passion for explaining how the physical world works through math and physics along with 11 years of tutoring experience in those subjects, test prep, and mentorship programs. Daniel tutored my teenage son in Algebra and Geometry for over one year. During that time, my son's grades increased and he became more confident with Math, in general. His time with Daniel set him up for success in Algebra 2 this year (11th grade). Daniel was always on time, very polite and courteous with my son! Highly recommend his tutoring service.

I'm sorry, I cannot handle this Instructor for my children. She wasn't me but she's not quite the people person I expected. Her personality is not a good match for a high school tutor. Unfortunately her English is not good enough. Her accent is entirely too strong. Also she does not know enough Geometry to help my kids.

He started with what I needed to know to truly grasp the language (alphabet, gender pronouns, basic verb conjugations, every day phrases, etc.) and at the same time, took into consideration what I wanted to learn in preparation for my trip to Greece. He also referred me to some very useful online resources that I used throughout the week to ensure I kept up with the language.
