Learning the bass guitar is one of the most enjoyable classes when it comes to stringed instruments. The student will learn to keep a steady beat while adding flare to any ensemble by developing his or her own bass styles. Although some may be intimidated by the instrument, we make it a fun experience.

I've taken guitar lessons on and off for a while, and Cameron is hands-down the best teacher I've had. He points out specific technical good points and bad points, and offers concrete suggestions and examples for improvement. The lesson material is progressively challenging, but not overwhelming, and is targeted to the student's interests, and lessons are fun and interesting. Fantastic instructor.

Cameron is an excellent teacher for me. I am 11 years old and have been playing for almost a year with him. He is patient and makes me stretch to be a better guitarist. He takes time to find songs at my level of learning and accommodates my tastes in music. I would recommend him for anyone who is interested in playing guitar.
Kim K.
I enjoyed my first lesson with Cameron. He explained things clearly so I could understand. Can't wait for my next lesson.

I enjoyed my lessons with Greg. He is very helpful, always upbeat, patient and positive. He takes things slow so that you don't feel like you have tons of things to practice. And over all he's just really nice and fun and a very good teacher to have.

Mark was very patient yet informative. He pointed out areas to improve upon and complemented me where I had been working hard. I was comfortable with his online lesson because he looked me straight in the eyes as though we were face to face. I know he will teach me how to play my mandolin; so looking forward to the next lesson!

Mark has been a great teacher for this adult beginner! I take lessons in clawhammer banjo and ukulele with him, and his easy-going nature and skill in identifying ways to improve make it a joyful experience! Highly recommend.

Mr. Sylvester is one of the greatest. He is not just an amazing guitarist, but he is also very kind. He treats people with so much respect. He speaks to me and my mom so nicely. He is very patient. He has a deep knowledge of music and knows how to get the most out of even the least talented people (like me!). He doesn't ever get mad if you make a mistake or forget to bring your music notes. We were so lucky to find Mr. Sylvester.

I've been taking lessons with David for more than 2 years, he's amazing... he's very knowledgeable, patient, knows how to explain difficult concepts and can adapt to a broad range of topics, covering different areas that I'm interested on, including music theory, songwriting, guitar and bass, and music production.

David is both a professional musician and an experienced instructor, and you can tell the difference that makes in every class.

We started with at-home classes, but switched to online during the pandemic and that's working pretty good for me to.

I'd recommend David to anyone looking to learn a new instrument, get better at it or expand their music knowledge in general.
George McKale
Simply put, David is a great teacher. His lessons incorporated the perfect blend of theory and patience while opening up new horizons on the fret board. His style of teaching is very flexible so that one can hone in on what excites them. For me, that was jazz and David made a huge difference in my creativity.
Selina
David did a wonderful job, teaching me bass via Zoom with a lot of focus on what I wanted to do. Even though my interests ranged from technical to classical to theoretical to funk, he always had something he could show me and proved to have great knowledge of the instrument as well as of music theory and history. I would recommend him to anyone.

"Lessons with Steve were the single most productive thing I did to advance not only as a bass player, but an overall musician. I started studying with Steve as a new upright bass player, but with extensive experience as an electric bass and guitar player. He methodically turned me into a pretty alright upright player, and gave me the music theory coaching to open up whole new worlds in my guitar playing. Steve is an incredible coach who makes the lessons and material fun and engaging. He’s the best!"

"Well, for starters, Marc is a great teacher (and all around great guy). My decision to choose Marc was solely based on his student's reviews. Do yourself a favor and look no further. If you really want to learn and quickly absorb the lessons, choose Marc. I'm learning quite a bit and although I thought that I'd be struggling, I'm picking up things rather quickly due to his style of teaching/explaining."

"Jered continues to be a fantastic teacher. He took the time to get to know what my goals are, he gives me good feedback, and he assigns me "homework" that is relevant and helpful to my progress. We focus on both the technique of playing bass as well as the the purpose and "feel" of the bass in different songs. I have fun at my lessons and look forward to them every week, and my bass playing continues to improve."
