Steven is an amazing teacher! I was skeptical at first about taking piano and singing classes online but after the first lesson I was confident that it's the best way to go. Steven knows how to motivate and scale the lessons appropriately. I've progressed so quickly and feel like I can really play the piano and sing. Don't miss out on taking lessons with Steven, you won't regret it.

I've been teaching guitar for 5 years helping students develop a love for the instrument and learn more about music along the way. There are many styles I'm comfortable teaching from folk (fingerpicking or flatpicking), rock, blues and funk and I would love working on developing a unique style of your own. Within the first few lessons you'll have a solid base of strumming, picking and chord changes and even a few simple songs under your belt. Moving on from there I will craft lessons to move you toward a "goal song," making sure to cater your progress to your needs while keeping a focus on good technique. I enjoy working with students of all ages and experiences and I can't wait to meet you!

About Ryan

Ryan is a musician from Logan Square who plays a plethora of different instruments. He specializes in guitar, banjo, mandolin and ukulele, but also dabbles in accordion, piano, drums, harmonica and several others. Hi! I've been playing guitar and with bands for over 15 years. I started on upright bass and played in an orchestra before moving onto jazz band, and then eventually taught myself guitar. The last band I was in toured and recorded all over the country before moving to Seattle. Songwriting is my greatest passion. If you have any interest in writing your own songs, I'd be more than happy to help. I'm comfortable with multiple genres and with electric or acoustic guitar. We can come up with a lesson plan together, or I can plan something myself based on your needs. Thank you!

About Jack

I play guitar, upright & electric bass, and piano. I've played in multiple bands throughout my life. I moved to Seattle with my band from Ann Arbor in 2016. We played Indie Psych Rock and were influenced by bands like Talking Heads, The Strokes, and David Bowie. We had the privilege of recording a s

"Adam is the best guitar teacher I have ever had. I tried learning guitar with a few other teachers but never really got the hang of it and didn't see much improvement. In just a couple months Adam has taught me so much from playing different chord shapes to different strumming patterns and techniques. I can genuinely feel a difference in my playing and have seen great improvement. Adam also takes the time to explain the songs he teaches and the ideas and motifs behind them. His methods really do work no matter what experience level you are. His knowledge and skills on the guitar (both electric and acoustic) are amazing. He's passionate about playing guitar which is what makes him such a great teacher. If you are looking to start playing or looking to improve upon your skills Adam is the guy for you!"

"After many different guitar teachers and disappointing results, I nearly put my guitar away for good. Fortunately, I decided to give it one more try by signing up with Kevin. He helped me make the most of what I had already learned before moving on to new techniques. Now I can play many of my favorite songs. I'm more confident and happier than ever with my playing. I'm even playing for other people, and I've even written a song, two things I never imagined myself doing. Kevin is patient, tactful and supportive. He never makes me feel stupid or incompetent. He is an excellent teacher. As a former teacher myself, I recommend him without reservation."

"Matt was very thorough in determining my current skill level (which is basically beginner with some previous limited exposure to music and some self-taught cowboy chords). He asked me what I wanted to focus on and worked with me on beginning to change some bad habits/techniques that I had developed. Matt didn't just instruct, he EXPLAINED. I felt that the lesson was much more of a mutual discussion than a lecture/demonstration, which is a great thing. I felt very comfortable and believe that Matt's teaching techniques will help me achieve my goals."
