I have been coached my major symphony concertmasters for my own auditions & have strong knowledge of the orchestra audition excerpts. In piano my coach was William Browning who taught me how to win competitions as well as judge them. I have been a competition judge for over 20 years, so I know what juries want in a winner. Of course, the credit goes to the student who puts all the work in. My job is to prepare you to succeed, and play your absolute best. Your tuition includes participation in my monthlyu master class Saturday mornings. If you are online, you may Skype in and perform or observe.
I am a career musician, and conservatory trained violin, piano and vocal instructor with over 40 years teaching experience, and a resume spanning many pages. I also am a well endorsed composer and public speaker. Furthermore, I LOVE teaching! I am a competition judge, member of National Music Te

I have taught and choreographed professionally for almost 8 years, and started dancing 21 years ago. I am passionate about teaching the technique to dancing, but also how to move their body with style. I have trained and worked with some of the top choreographers in LA and have a large amount of experience in the dance industry. I can teach jazz, technique, hip hop, jazz funk, lyrical, and contemporary. I love to help kids and adults build their confidence, brand themselves as dancers, and give them top training with the years of knowledge I have.
I was a professional dancer for 5 years in Los Angeles and am based out of Southern CA. I have lived on the stages of the world for over 30 years. From the chamber music halls to every stage of Lincoln Center to the stage of the State Department in Washington DC making a live documentary lecture concert. The stage is like a family room in my house regardless of the numbers of the audience, cameras, microphones or lighting. The stage really is the one in our minds. We walk onto a stage every time we speak with something on the line. When we meet new people in our lives or reunite with the ones we have not see in a long time. When we need to say something difficult or admit something to ourselves.
I help you to explore the psychology and the philosophy as well as the down to earth, technical methods of being on the stage and performing at your very best. The stage can inhibit but it can also energize as it channels all the previous energy that exists there.
Different stages are vortexes of energy. Connecting to it is one of the elements often not felt or ...

He created a welcoming environment in our online lessons that made it easy to be vulnerable and get right to working on new skills.
I highly recommend for others looking to better understand their voice and communication style, and learn to hone them.
Joseph’s technical ‘short cuts’ are amazing! He illustrates ways for your hands and your mind to work that are tailor made for you. Learning from him is so fun it seems almost effortless.
The way Joseph teaches allows you to develop at your own pace. The atmosphere is always relaxed yet everything moves along quickly.
At the open classes I attend, his other students are progressing very rapidly too. After each class, we share our impressions. The mood is elated because it feels like we stepped back in time and into history.
Joseph often quotes inspired wisdom of his historic teachers in our lessons. He is a great inspiration on his own with great musical insights.
I’m playing Beethoven and Chopin works I never thought I could approach at this stage of study, with great depth of understanding. I now play with greater passion and skill, get compliments from everyone I play for, and no longer worry about playing in public.
I look forward to each and every lesson with Joseph. His encouragement and support makes learning so rewarding! Anyone who finds this musical treasure is a lucky person and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

The best photography lighting is based on several factors, and depends on what type of look you want when it comes to your photos. Natural lighting versus studio lighting brings about two different looks in your photography. We'll be discussing natural lighting, which does not need any equipment. And we'll also discuss the benefits of two styles of studio lighting. The natural lighting of a photo will be much softer and a warmer look while using studio lighting gives your photos a more ov …
