Whether you want to learn to fingerpick Blackbird by the Beatles or strum basic chords to play your favorite songs, in our lessons you will learn everything from the anatomy of the guitar, how to hold it, to tips and tricks to build up calluses. Learning guitar can be challenging because of the initial learning curve (it can really hurt your fingers!), but in your first lesson, you will be strumming chords, within a couple of weeks (or faster!) you will be ready to play four-chord songs.

Your lessons will be customized to whatever your goals are, whether that be singing while playing guitar, performing, or writing songs.

Whether you have been singing for years, or you are just trying it out, I will help customize your lessons so that you can learn exactly what it is you are interested in. It has been an absolute pleasure working with and learning from Damien during the start of my clarinet playing experience. He has been an incredibly patient, kind, and helpful instructor as evident in his willingness to listen to and respond to my desired performance goals. From the beginning, he has been willing to help tailor his instructional method to meet me at my experience level as well as facilitate playing the pieces I wish. Damien is a laid-back and easy-going instructor that I would recommend to anyone looking to build on existing knowledge or start learning the clarinet.
