Austin was great. I hadn't picked up the guitar in years, and he made restarting the learning curve approachable by adapting to my needs and specific learning desires. He is competent, easy to talk to and walks you through each step using the technology platforms, his knowledge and specific examples to learn the best techniques to achieve your goals. I'll be back again for more.

Leandria is a laid back teacher but loves to see her students’ progress with their music. She uses the Mel Bay method, and believes it’s very important for her students to learn the basics of the instrument(strings), how to read music, chords etc. In a typical lesson they would start with a ---finger exercises up the guitar neck starting saying the note, saying the finger number, and then saying both--- then they would work on which ever piece is their focus at that time.

About Leandria

Born in Huntsville Al, Leandria L. received her Bachelors from Tennessee State University with a Commercial Music Performance Degree, since then, she has traveled to Europe to play in work shops and concerts, she's had the opportunity to played for gospel artists Kirk Franklin, Kurt Carr, and Tye T

Leandria has a very pleasant personality and a genuinely caring attitude. From start to finish, I was very pleased with the first lesson. She is a very knowledgeable teacher. I am excitedly looking forward to seeing great progress after this initial series of lessons!

Leandria is amazing! Not only is she an amazing teacher but she is a wonderful person as well. She is so personable and truly felt like a friend to me. I was amazed at how fast I was learning and was having so much fun while doing it. She taught me the basics and foundations and she also taught me to play some fun songs like beyonce's Halo song as well! We would laugh and say we were channeling our inner beyonce. She adapts her teaching style to your learning style and really makes the most of each lesson. Unfortunately my life recently got a little chaotic so I had to put my lessons on hold for a while but when I continue back up I will definitely be going back to her. You can't find a better teacher than Leandria! I would highly recommend her to all people and age groups!

The lessons were really well structured and I felt I was on my way to achieve my goals from the first one.

Ben broke everything down into manageable chunks and built upon each lesson at the level that was right for me. He has a great teaching style and always makes you feel comfortable to ask as many questions as you need to.

I feel I have learnt so much, not only for my flamenco playing, but knowledge and skills that I can use across the board with guitar. With Ben's help I was also able to learn how to play one of my favourite songs!
Jeff W.
Ben is patient and a likeable instructor. He will challenge you but does so in a way that makes you want to demonstrate to him as well as yourself that you are learning and progressing. I feel good about my progress so far!
Malcolm
Ben's a great and knowledgeable teacher, always willing to answer whatever questions I have. I'm new to flamenco but have played other styles of guitar, and the lessons are really well-tailored for my experience level.

I have studied classical voice from the age of 13 with instructors from The Metropolitan Opera. I have sung classical arias in Italian, German, French and Latin.

In our lesson, we will focus on the three pillars of singing: Alignment, breathing, and relaxation. We will work on classical vocal technique through simple exercises. I have exercises for people of all vocal ranges and types. I will adapt my lessons to your specific needs.

We will select the perfect music for you to work on, and I will accompany you on piano. If the music is in a foreign language, I can work on pronunciation with you. If needed, I will record piano tracks for you to practice in between lessons.

Feel free to reach out with any questions. I can't wait to get started!

Meghan dove right into the lesson, customizing it at the perfect level for our daughter's experience. We liked that she was prepared and maximized the time. She has a youthful personality and knowledge of pop songs which is a great personality fit with our 13 year old daughter. She also customized the lesson and song choice in a way that would appeal to my daughter. My daughter is actually excited to take lessons and is already planning her list of songs she wants to learn.
