I offer Acting training with three different types of focuses:

- Acting Lessons: If you are interested in the craft of acting and want to become a better artist I create a weekly/monthly lesson plan which will serve your unique needs. Lessons will be based around your experience level, your interests, and your end goal as a performer.

- Audition Coaching: Monologue/Scene/Side coaching for anything from a Community Theater audition to a callback for Chicago Fire. We will attack your audition material analytically, psychophysically, and psychologically.

- Industry Coaching: What does an agent do? How do I get noticed by a Casting Director? How can I get to perform in a Motion Picture? What type am I?
The focus of my Acting Industry Coaching is to expose the actors to all the industry tools and info that can make them successful. Explaining Unions, how a headshot can get you through the door, and how to figure out type, are what I focus on in these lessons.

About Daniil

Looking to become more confident? A better actor? Find a new agent? With over 10 years of industry experience as an Actor, Director, Artistic Director, and most importantly, educator, I help people from Ages 5 to 80 sharpen their craft, turn anxiety into self confidence, and own themselves so th

This was my first ever acting class and Dan has done a great job! He’s really made me understand how to put myself in the moment with repetition exercises. Very laid back and easy to work with but also professional. Would recommend to anyone looking to become a better actor.
Sophia
Daniil worked with me on preparing multiple callback sides, both classical and contemporary. He is the kind of coach that has the specificity and honesty to push you beyond what you thought you were capable of, and to open your eyes to a new way of seeing your work. Daniil was able to connect my early experience with Meisner training to the sides that I had in front of me, in a way that was challenging but not scary. I left the session with a new handful of tools to prepare for the upcoming callbacks, and a new perspective on what it meant to reach honesty and authenticity as an actor.
Emily
Dan is an incredible instructor. His keen eye and ability to coach is a true gift. Dan works in specificity, detail and nuance; I am always a better actor having worked with him. Dan is knowledgeable about the business and offers great advice on agents, managers, type and casting. I highly recommend Dan as an acting coach and a business coach.

I tell people that I came out of the womb acting, dancing, and singing as these have and still are passions that drive my career as an artist. I went to a Flemish-speaking Kindergarten and Elementary school where we did a musical stage production each year. I am so grateful that my parents and maternal grandmother saw my gifting in the arts and put me in one of the best English-speaking private schools in Belgium that had a renowned arts program from 7-12th grade. I was in plays, musicals, drama classes, drama clubs, international theater festivals, voice lessons, dance lessons, received drama and music awards, and at the end of high school received an International Baccalaureate certificate in Theater. Then I went on to receive a Bachelor of Theater Arts with a concentration on acting and directing. I would love to coach/teach you or your child about acting on stage or for the camera. I can also teach/coach on improv, method, or Shakespearean acting. I am currently living in Los ...

I've been seeing Sandra for 7 years and I consistently look forward to my lesson every week. I have seen myself improve tremendously in my singing, acting, and sight-reading. Sandra provides an atmosphere of serious learning in which I have been taught how to control by voice, but she is also very personable and always up for a fun chat. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher!
Linda
Fantastic teacher. I learned so much more in a short time with Sandra than I learned with all the other voice trainers I have had through the years. Her method is rewarding.

I have been teaching acting since 2013 and use a combination of tools and techniques from many of the well known acting theories. Through exploration, you will learn how to use the "acting fundamentals" (given circumstances, personalization, actions/tactics) to discover an honest connection to the script.
