I've been a professional actor for over 30 years. My work has ranged from classical theatre, world premiere plays, to guest starring roles in television and film including Modern Family, Scandal, CSI Los Angeles and many more.
I co founded an award winning regional theatre in the Northwest that is still running strong. Last year, the film I directed, Here Awhile starring Anna Camp, and Joe Lo Truglio, was released to wide acclaim.
Throughout my career as an actor who has performed with 6 Academy Award winners, I have remained committed to sharing my knowledge and experience with other actors.
I received my BFA at Southern Oregon University where I worked at the famed Oregon Shakespeare festival. My MFA comes form the Alabama Shakespeare festival. I taught acting at Cornell University and Willamette University as well as teaching privately for the last 20 years.

Opera is such a beautiful genre that I love to sing! As with any student you learn all vocal techniques. Attention to detail is what sets this genre apart so we explore challenging concepts and tools to really help your instrument reach it's fullest potential. We cannot stop at just a good vocal sound however, the full performance is explored from musical tools to acting through the song and staging/gestures.
My musical journey started in high school when my algebra teacher saw me in the hallway, grabbed my hand and brought me to the choir room to sign up for The Sound of Music auditions. To this day I cannot believe my math teacher unknowingly sent me straight down a path that I would walk the rest of

We work on two areas: Delivery and substance.
I find John’s experience as an actor invaluable in helping me develop the delivery of my routine. He advises me on pacing and on attitude – crucial in Stand-Up.
I also ask John for his opinions regarding the substance of my routines - structure and contents. It’s very important in Stand-Up to have drama and clear organization. John’s comments are always on-target and have helped me greatly.
John has provided me with a safe forum where I can present my material to him in rehearsal mode. He asks thoughtful questions which lead me to improve my routines so they will have a greater impact on the imaginations of the members of my audience.
It is a pleasure to recommend John. I recommend him highly.

Singers--and those who want to be--need opportunities to sing! Some are ready to shine and just need training. Others need training AND encouragement in an environment that feels safe and private, while they gain confidence, which slowly effects the sounds they make, allowing them to be ready to shine.
Teresa specializes in working with students of all ages and stages who know the styles of music they want to explore and master. Her passions as a teacher include preparing students to pursue their musical interests armed with technique, music-reading capabilities, and the "building blocks" of music: knowledge of functional music theory and how to use it.
A musician since age 4, Teresa's dad took her early passion for music seriously. So she respects the power that parents have to foster their children's musical lives! She notes the many stories she has heard over the years: "If someone had just supported my interest"... "If my teacher had listened t
1. She's good on Zoom, not all teachers are. Very personable!
2. She's fun and practical. I am teaching music to children and teenagers. She knows all the tricks with these age groups, passes them on and makes it easy.
3. She's deeply rooted in music, and respects and appreciates all kinds of music.
4. Teresa is a pragmatist and realist. She helps the student exactly where his/her need is greatest. She uses our time together well.
5. She shares delightful music sheets by email. For an upcoming Halloween-themed class I'm teaching, she sent me some "scary" ghosts songs that fit the bill perfectly.

The web - accessed through a web browser and created to share information among people was originally made up of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language – used for structuring web pages) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheet – used to design and light up web pages). This approach and components (HTML and CSS) made web pages static, leaving them with no way of performing any further activities when retrieved by the web browser. But as time went by, something strange and mysterious came along and played a …
